about

bats of namibia…on location… (1 of 5 videos)
5 of the pieces from the original human nature CD were selected - along with the original performers: John Godfrey, Simone Keller, Lore Lixenberg, Jane Rigler, and Samuel Stoll - to live perform these same pieces in settings selected so as to expand upon the field recording that they “play.” Power comments: “Each piece is made of the original field recording—the sound that I have captured in a given place—plus a live performance set in another place, collaboratively chosen by myself and the musician in reference to the original field recording. It is the combination of both that creates a new sonic experience, now with moving images accompanying the audio.”
